How much technical background do I need?
You do not need to be a penetration tester already. A basic comfort with using a computer, installing software and following technical instructions is enough. If you’ve used a virtual machine or Linux before that will certainly help, but the lab guide is written to be beginner-friendly and the session explains the concepts in clear, accessible language.
How do I access the recording and virtual machine?
After you enrol and complete checkout, you’ll receive an email with a secure link to the course area. From there you can stream or download the 1.5 hour recording and download the virtual machine image, slides and lab guide. You’ll keep access to these resources, so you can come back to them whenever you like.
What software or hardware do I need to run the virtual machine?
You’ll need a reasonably modern laptop or desktop with at least 8GB of RAM (16GB is ideal) and enough free disk space for the virtual machine image. You’ll also need virtualisation software such as VirtualBox or VMware Workstation / Player. Basic installation instructions and any specific settings are included in the lab guide.
Is this suitable if I already have some WiFi security experience?
